Robert Hardman is a guest on Countdown. He is a royal newspaper columnist and documentary film maker. Once a royal correspondent for the Daily Telegraph, he switched to the Daily Mail in 2001.
He is also an occasional author, his most recent book being a biography of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, her Jubilee year on the throne.
