2023 FOCAL season
The 2023 FOCAL season is the sixth and current season of FOCAL tournaments. It is the first standalone season since 2019, as the previous three were amalgamated due to the COVID-19 pandemic preventing many events in 2020 and 2021 from going ahead.
As per tradition, the season commenced at the end of January with the Lincoln event — the eighteenth annually, titled COLIN XVIII — and its ‘hangover’ counterpart the following day. Among others yet to be confirmed, tournaments will be held in Manchester, Rugby (for the first time), Leeds, Brighton and — for the first time in four years — Dublin. At the Leeds event in April, games will be played using the Goatdown variant, the first FOCAL co-event to do so.
