Sam Quek is a guest on Countdown. She is a television presenter and former field hockey player, winning gold for Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She has presented various sports shows, became a finalist in the 2020 series of Celebrity MasterChef, and was a team captain on the long-running BBC quiz Question of Sport from 2021 until it was axed in 2023.
