Said that she won 2 games though, so not entirely convinced that they are the same person. However, can't seem to find anyone matching the description around that era.

Su Winter from series 36 maybe? 4 years out on the date but at least won 2 episodes.

Doubtful that this is the same person. She said on Tuesday 26th's episode to Colin that her previous name was Pollard. She also said she'd won twice in 1993 but she only won once. --CountdownChloe (talk) 03:05, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

Sue Bowman was the only Sue to play in 1993, and there hasn't been a contestant called Sue Pollard (only Derek Pollard, Irene Pollard, Maureen Pollard and Alan Pollard).--Launchballer (talk) 09:57, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

I'm reliably informed by Ed Byrne that the Sue Bowman who played in 1993 was a prominent scrabble player and sadly passed away last year.
