Lucy Porter is a guest on Countdown. She is an actress, writer, presenter, and comedian who has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Festival, and has done multiple tours across the UK; the latest one in 2026 being "Let Yourself Go!". She also makes regular appearances on several BBC Radio 4 quiz shows including Quote... Unquote, The News Quiz and The Personality Test. She is married to fellow actor, comedian and writer Justin Edwards, which has also provided comedy material for some of her performances.
