The 7 round format is the arrangement of letters, numbers and conundrum rounds used for Celebrity Countdown and also used for the 1997 Christmas Special, as well as the one-off special, 8 out of 10 Cats Do Countdown. It was later the standard format used for 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown since Series 6, Episode 2 except for several episodes in Series 9 whereby it reverted back to an 8-round format. Only the format used below is valid for the first three examples.
