Alison Heard is a lexicographer. She has made over 100 appearances in this role, and her longest run came during 2007's Series 57 in which she replaced Susie Dent for much of the series, including the finals, due to Dent's pregnancy. She was also the lexicographer for the 25th anniversary episode.
