Andrew Auger was a contestant in Series 36. He was a dispatch assistant from Kencot, Oxfordshire.
Despite losing to Maria Boyes in his sole appearance on Countdown in 1997, he would go on to greater success on Countdown's former sister show Fifteen-to-One between 1998 and 2000, making eight appearances in all, including three Grand Final appearances.
