For the Series 70 contestant, see Ann Robinson.

Anne Robinson is the current presenter of Countdown. At the time of her six appearances as a Dictionary Corner guest on the show in 1987, she was helming Points of View. She later became most famous for hosting The Weakest Link from 2000 to 2012 (she also hosted a Children In Need special of The Weakest Link in 2017).

On 15 February 2021, it was announced on Steph's Packed Lunch that Robinson would replace Nick Hewer as host of Countdown, following Hewer's retirement. She is the first female main host of the regular weekday version of Countdown, with Katherine Ryan having presented an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Robinson took over at the start of Series 84, where her first episode began with a clip of Richard Whiteley introducing her as Dictionary Corner guest.

As host of The Weakest Link, Robinson became famous for her "Queen of Mean" persona, which was later parodied on an episode of Doctor Who where a version of The Weakest Link – set in the year 200,100 – was hosted by the "Anne Droid".
