Template:Host/guest Colin Murray is a guest on Countdown. He is a former BBC Radio 1 presenter with a famous uncle. He was also the presenter of Match of the Day 2 from 2010 until 2013. He now presents various sports events on a freelance basis for the BBC and Channel 4, and was a presenter on TalkSport before resigning in 2016 due to the takeover of the station by Rupert Murdoch's NewsCorp.
He currently hosts EFL on Quest on Saturday nights.
He is set to host the show in place of Nick Hewer, making his on-screen debut on 21 December 2020.
