The Countdown board game is a board game that's included in the goody bag for Countdown contestants. Not only is it available for free by being a contestant, it can be purchased on the net or in some shops.

The game consists of lettered cards divided into vowels and consonants, as well as 24 numbered cards for the numbers game. There's an egg timer, a spinner with three wheels to generate random three-digit numbers and a felt board to put the letters on. There's a list of over 100 conundrums that comes with the game, but at Countdown tournaments people tend to make their own. One of the main faults of the game is that the first digit of the numbers game can be a zero, so 10% of the time there's a target less than 100, and the smallest possible target is 000. Countdown board games are used for Countdown tournaments.
