Craig Beevers is champion of Series 57. He is the second contestant ever to score eight centuries in heat games, the first being Julian Fell in Series 48. He scored 907 points, which works out as 113 points a game. He beat Mikey Lear in the quarter-final and David Von Geyer in the semi-final. He beat Jeffrey Hansford in the Series 57 final to win the series, he scored 105 points although it was Jeffrey that got the conundrum in less than a second. His total points score in 11 games was 1236, which works out as 112.4 points per game. This compares with 1307 points for Julian Fell.

Away from Countdown, Craig is a member of the Association of British Scrabble Players, and has been the Cleveland club Scrabble champion on three occasions.
