Episode C9 was broadcast on 12 November 2019, as part of Series 2 of Celebrity Countdown. It was the first episode of the modern More4 Celebrity Countdown series.
Jay Rayner played Jo Brand, with Jay Rayner winning 58 – 50, in a 13-rounder. The Dictionary Corner guest was Chris Packham, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
The selection for the numbers game in Round 2 was made by Rachel Riley, who had earlier provided the contestants with tips on working with difficult four-large selections, including providing a walkthrough of Jon O'Neill's memorable solve in Round 5 of Episode 3901. Round 12's selection was agreed upon by Riley and both players.
