Episode Cats16, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 3, Episode 6 was a special episode broadcast on 28 February 2014, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 3.
8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Jon Richardson and Sean Lock were the contestants, along with James Corden and Kevin Bridges who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.
The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Kevin Bridges, winning by 45 – 39 in an 8-rounder and they won a Countdown alarm clock.
Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and Joe Wilkinson helped her out from round 5 onwards. The Dictionary Corner guest was Peter Serafinowicz, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.
