Episode Cats4, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 1, Episode 2 was a special episode broadcast on 19 April 2013 as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 1.

8 out of 10 Cats regular Jon Richardson and Acting Team Captain Lee Mack were the contestants, along with Stephen Mangan and Richard Osman who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Stephen Mangan, winning by 54 – 47 in a 9-rounder.

Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and Joe Wilkinson helped her out from round 5 onwards. The Dictionary Corner guest was Henning Wehn, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.
