Lewis Mackay

Lewis Mackay was a contestant in Series 41. He was 14 when he appeared, and is the great nephew of Series 20 winner Liz Barber.

He is also a Scrabble Grandmaster and has held the number 1 ranking position in both the British and world Scrabble rankings. He finished runner-up at the 2015 WESPA Championship, and was a semi-finalist at the 2016 MSI World Scrabble Championship, losing to eventual World Champion Brett Smitheram. He also finished runner-up at the 2016 ABSP National Scrabble Championship, losing to Phil Robertshaw. He has been playing tournament Scrabble since the age of 10.
