Lucy Summers was Countdown's third and shortest-serving "letters girl". She did one series before flouncing off, deciding that she wanted to be a serious actor, dahhling, and not some cheap game show hostess. Last spotted plying her trade as a gardening expert.
When Lucy left, the producers decided they couldn't be bothered doing any more casting and let Carol Vorderman take over all the hostess duties.
