Mark Labbett was a contestant in Series 42. He was also runner up on The National Lottery People's Quiz, and was part of the Rugby Boys team who won the second series of Only Connect.

In 2009, he became one of the original "chasers" in the 2009 ITV quiz show The Chase, and has continued this role ever since in the UK, as well as being the sole "chaser" on the US version, and as one of five on the Australian version.
