Mark Labbett was a contestant in Series 42.
A serial quiz show contestant, Labbett has also appeared on Mastermind, BrainTeaser, SUDO-Q, Grand Slam, Stake Out (in the same game as Keith Pottage) and has made two separate appearances on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. He was also runner up on The National Lottery People's Quiz, and was part of the "Rugby Boys" team who won the second series of Only Connect.
In 2009, he became one of the two original "Chasers" in the ITV quiz show The Chase, and has continued this role ever since in the UK, as well as being the sole Chaser on the US version from 2012 to 2015, and as one of five on the Australian version between 2016 and 2020. In 2021 he joined the US version again being one of four Chasers along with the three Jeopardy! GOAT contestants.
