Pasha Kovalev is a guest on Countdown. He is a professional ballroom and Latin dancer who was born in Russia and formerly resided in New York City. Kovalev notably partnered Rachel Riley on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing; in the following series, he partnered TV presenter Caroline Flack, and went on to win the Glitterball trophy. In other series, he has also partnered fellow Dictionary corner guests Carol Kirkwood and Naga Munchetty.
Since 2014, he has been in a relationship with Rachel Riley.
