Pasha Kovalev is a guest on Countdown. He is a professional ballroom and Latin dancer who was born in Russia and formerly resided in New York City. He was a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing from 2011-2018. Kovalev partnered Rachel Riley on the eleventh series of Strictly, finishing in 10th place. In the following series, he won the Glitterball trophy partnering TV presenter Caroline Flack. In other series, he has also partnered fellow Dictionary corner guests Carol Kirkwood and Naga Munchetty.
Since 2014, he has been in a relationship with Rachel Riley, marrying her on 30th June 2019.
