Perry Fung was a contestant in Series 40. He was around 8 when he first appeared, reappearing aged 11 for the junior tournament. Despite losing his original show, Richard Whiteley still gave Fung a teapot, for being the 2nd youngest contestant in the show's history at the time.
Outside Countdown, Fung became the youngest ever winner of a Scrabble Tournament of any division at the age of 8, going onto to win the second series of TV Scrabble.
