Speed Countdown is a variant on the normal Countdown game that is occasionally played via MSN Messenger. Every round has a time limit of just ten seconds. In the letters round, players must choose their nine letters all at once; in the numbers round, the numbers and total are revealed simultaneously. The conundrum remains unchanged - in particular, the time limit is a full 30 seconds. Speed Countdown is available on Apterous, the only differences being the letters are selected normally and you are given 10 seconds for the conundrum, as with all the rounds.
