A Whitehall is a numbers game selection involving 1 number from the top row, 2 from the 2nd, 1 from the 3rd, and 2 from the bottom. it is named after the old telephone number of the Metropolitan Police (Whitehall 1212).
Alternatively, a contestant could ask for a Backward Whitehall; 2 from the first and third rows, 1 from the second and fourth.
