A Whitehall is a numbers game selection involving one number from the top row, two from the second, one from the third, and two from the bottom. It is named after the old telephone number of the Metropolitan Police (Whitehall 1212).
Alternatively, a contestant could ask for a Backward Whitehall; two from the first and third rows, one from the second and fourth.
