ZoomDown Series 2 was the second series of ZoomDown and was hosted by Paul Anderson. It ran from 7 September to 21 December 2020 and was won by Rob Foster.

James Roper's 129 in Episode ZD42 was a max game, the first in 83 games of regular ZoomDown. It was followed by a max game in Episode ZD52 by Harry Savage and one in the second semi-final by Foster.

The finals fell true to form in that the higher seed always beat the lower seed, with no upsets.

The show follows seeding rules from the modern era of Countdown. Namely, since Series 60, players are sorted by number of wins, then by number of points. Points from both wins and losses count. Points from sudden death conundrums are not counted, and players with the same number of wins and points are sorted by the number of conundrums correctly guessed, then highest individual score.

NOTE: Matthew Alicoon, undefeated with 3 wins and 335 points, withdrew from the series for personal reasons. His opponents were given another opportunity to participate, although their original scores were not included in their totals.

NOTE: James Roper, with 3 wins and 450 points, withdrew from the finals for personal reasons. NOTE: Zubair Patel, with 3 wins and 327 points, was undefeated at the end of the series and could have qualified as No. 8 seed, but elected to continue his run in the following series.
