Episode 5741 was broadcast on 26 July 2013, as part of Series 69.

Zarte Siempre played Brenda Widger, with Zarte Siempre winning 103 – 49. The Dictionary Corner guest was Jon Culshaw, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

This was notable for a blooper in round 11. After Siempre declared AREOLA, Nick Hewer then introduced the Origins of Words section as 'Susie's Special Spot' unware of the unfortunate meaning of the round 11 declaration. This then followed with Dent breaking into a laughing fit. According to Siempre, filming was stopped for 15 minutes whilst Dent and everyone else composed themselves. The said blooper was later shown on an episode of 'It'll be Alright on the Night'.
