Sharon Bridge was a quarter-finalist in Series 28.
She began her Countdown career with three wins at the end of Series 27, and returned on 5 July 1994 to complete her run and become the first female octochamp since Lindsay Denyer four years earlier. With two scores over sixty, she returned for finals as second seed, and was drawn against four-time winner Gregg Magee. However Magee made an excellent 70 to Bridge's 38, and her ninth appearance was her last.
