8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 12 was a series of nine special episodes that began on 13 January 2017 and ended on 8 June 2017 with the 2017 Snap General Election Special.
This series was notable in that both regulars, Sean Lock and Jon Richardson were not seen together for majority of the episodes again due to their individual tours and conflicting schedules. Coupled with that, the Election Special was the first ever episode to feature the current set used on Countdown, preceding the normal version by three and a half weeks and used a special format due to the shortened duration of the episode.
NOTE: Episodes Cats82 and Cats83 are not paired to any Series on the Official Website. However, due to the 2017 Snap General Election Special, they are grouped here.[1]
