8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 14 was a series of five special episodes that began on 18 August 2017 and ended on 22 September 2017.

There was a slight change in the format where in Rounds 3 and 4, both team captains and the remaining two players will face off each other respectively, a change from previous Series where the team captain faces the opposing normal player and vice versa. The only exception was in Episode 4 where the game was an 8-rounder rather then a typical 7-rounder.

Furthermore, this series was also notable when, in Episode 2, for the first time, neither Sean Lock nor Jon Richardson appeared.
