8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 6 was a series of seven special episodes that began on 29 December 2014 with a Christmas Special and ended on 13 February 2015.
Notably, the Christmas Special was the first time a seven-round format was used, discounting the original 30-minute backdoor pilot. It has since become a permanent fixture on the show (although some eight-round games were played up until 2019) to allow more time for comedic and anecdotal sections
