David Stainer

David Stainer was a contestant in Series 47. He pipped Peter Coutts by just two points in Coutts' eighth game, and went on to make three centuries before losing to Cyril Cohen. A solicitor, in 2003 he was invited back to play fellow solicitor Simon Cobb.
