Robert Mill played Eric Boland, with Eric Boland winning 62 - 52. The Dictionary Corner guest was Richard Digance, and the lexicographer was Mark Nyman.
The game was decided on a second Conundrum when neither player was able to unscramble the first Conundrum "NOTEPAPER" within the time. The game almost required a third Conundrum, however, Eric spotted "SMOOCHING" just as time was about to run out to win the game.
