Allan Saldanha played Dick Green, with Dick Green winning 81 - 70. The Dictionary Corner guests were Richard Stilgoe and Gyles Brandreth, and the lexicographer was Catherine Clarke. In round 11, the word YOLKED was wrongly disallowed by Catherine Clarke, making the correct final score 81 - 76. Due to this controversy Allan Saldanha was given his own copy of the Oxford Dictionary of English.
