8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 5, Episode 2 was a special episode broadcast on 12 September 2014, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 5.
8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Jon Richardson and Sean Lock were the contestants, along with Trevor Noah and David Baddiel who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.
The match saw Sean Lock, with the assistance of Trevor Noah, winning by 37 – 31 in an 8-rounder and they won a set of Countdown golf clubs.
Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and with Joe Wilkinson "away on holiday", Alex Horne & the Horne Section appeared as musical guests from round 5 onwards by playing a jazz, disco and blues version of the clock music in Rounds 5, 6 and 7 respectively. The Dictionary Corner guest was Joey Essex, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
