8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 8, Episode 2 was a special episode broadcast on 3 March 2016, as part of 8 out of 10 Cats Mash-ups Series 8.

8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Sean Lock and Jon Richardson were the contestants, along with Bob Mortimer and Holly Walsh who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Sean Lock, with the assistance of Bob Mortimer, winning by 33 – 23 in an 7-rounder.

Rachel Riley couldn't attend the recording, so Claudia Winkleman took over as the arithmetician for this episode. The Dictionary Corner guest was Isy Suttie, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer. Also, Winkleman "rang" Carol Vorderman for help with the solution in round 4.
