Episode S45 was a special episode broadcast on 10 April 2015, which featured 2 contestants who were in the police force.

PC Matt Croy played prison officer Craig Lingard, with Matt Croy winning 91 – 66. The Dictionary Corner guest was Paul Zenon, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

Like Episode S44, this episode was also broadcast at 6am, and also used the "old" 15 round format, which was still being used when this was recorded in 2012. As of April 2016, it is the final game to have been premiered in the Old 15 format, although a few specials recorded during the Richard Whiteley and Jeff Stelling eras are yet to emerge.
