In 2012 he appeared as his self created superhero Gymsuper5 on Morgan Spurlocks New Britannia episode 5 on Sky Atlantic.
 
As a full time passenger transport professional, this gained Belshaw the role in C5's 2014 documentary Britain's deadliest roads as the chauffeur driving from Heathrow to the west end.

Belshaw first appeared in the public eye when he and his girlfriend Sophia broke a Guinness World Record in 2005. They took the record of the longest continuous kiss where they smooched for 31 hours 30 minutes and 30 seconds. They held the record until 2010 when it was beaten.
