Nick Boldock was a contestant in Series 35. He was a 21-year-old freelance writer from Hull. In his two appearances on Countdown, he was best remembered for his brightly-coloured shirts advertising the rock bands Guns N' Roses and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
He still enjoys the game, and 12 years after his appearance began playing it on Apterous.
