He scored 101 in his first game against [[John Clarke (Series 49)|John Clarke]] before winning three more games with 80, 84 and 79 points respectively. His four wins and 411 points were enough to qualify him for the quarter-finals as 7th seed, where he faced second seed [[Martin Gardner]]. Peter Jeffery was a finalist in Series 49.

He scored 101 in his first game against John Clarke before winning three more games with 80, 84 and 79 points respectively. He lost his 5th game 67 – 74 (a margin of 7 points) against Keith Johnson. His four wins and 411 points were enough to qualify him for the quarter-finals as 7th seed, where he faced second seed Martin Gardner. He was beaten by Martin in the first round by POTHEADS and never got back into the game, eventually losing 101 – 64. The only round he beat Martin on was round 10, the numbers game where he scored 10 points.
