14 round format

There have been two major Countdown game formats known as the 14 round format:
- The "old" or "original" 14 round format (LLNLLNCLLNLLNC), used for grand finals between Series 2 and Series 45
- The "new" 14 round format (LNCLLNLLNLLLNC), used for assorted episodes of Celebrity Countdown
