Barry Cryer (23 March 1935 – 25 January 2022) was a guest on Countdown. He has worked with most comedians for over half a century. He didn't find the Kenny Everett creation Cupid Stunt a funny name. Everyone else did. On his stints in Dictionary Corner, he usually did some sort of "on this day in history" thing.
