David James is a guest on Countdown. He is a former professional footballer, who famously played as a goalkeeper for Watford, Liverpool, Aston Villa, West Ham United, Man City, Portsmouth, Bristol City, AFC Bournemouth, ÍBV and Kerala Blasters (where he was also player-manager), and earned 53 caps for England, and was sometimes referred to as "Calamity James".
He appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, and his score of 10 for his Paso Doble was the second-lowest score in history and the lowest since 2004.
