Hugh Dennis is a guest on Countdown. He is an actor and stand-up comedian. He is also one half of Punt and Dennis with Steve Punt, with whom he presents The Now Show on BBC Radio 4. He is also famous for his role as Pete Brockman in Outnumbered and remains as the only regular comedian on Mock the Week.
An episode of the BBC sitcom, Not Going Out, portrayed his character as having a crush on Susie Dent just before his debut in Dictionary Corner.
