Hugh Dennis is a guest on Countdown. He is an actor and stand-up comedian, one half of Punt and Dennis with Steve Punt, with whom he presents The Now Show on BBC Radio 4. He is also famous for his role as Pete Brockman in Outnumbered, and as the only remaining regular comedian on Mock the Week.
Just before his debut in Dictionary Corner, an episode of BBC sitcom Not Going Out portrayed his character as having a crush on Susie Dent.
