John Virgo was a guest on Countdown. He was a commentator for the BBC's coverage of snooker, who played the game professionally from 1976 to 1994. Alongside Jim Davidson, Virgo co-presented Big Break that ran from 1991 to 2002.
He sadly passed away on 4 February 2026.
