The '''Richard Whiteley Memorial Trophy''' is a trophy that is named in the memory of [[Richard Whiteley]] after his sad death in {{w|Summer}} 2005. Since his death after [[Series 53]], the trophy has been presented to each of the series winners since [[Series 54]] (see [[series winners]], for a list of all the ''[[Countdown]]'' champions). Each winner has their name engraved on the trophy.
