:1 Carol's page says she leaves in November. Rachel's page (and Jeff's) says joining in January.  So Carol's is referring to recording dates, and Rachel's to transmission dates.  Since most of the wiki is based on transmission dates, I feel that it's Carol's page that should be brought into line.

Couple of points.

1 Carol's page says she leaves in November. Rachel's page (and Jeff's) says joining in January. So Carol's is referring to recording dates, and Rachel's to transmission dates. Since most of the wiki is based on transmission dates, I feel that it's Carol's page that should be brought into line.
2 Series 60 doesn't in fact start until February, with COC13 due to take us right to the end of January. So should "start of Series 60 in January" be reworded? drawoh 10:46, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Only at Oxford. Their Masters degree in Mathematics is the equivalent of a Bachelors degree elsewhere. The whole Oxford degree system is very strange - in some subjects, they offer a standard degree but call it a Masters, in others they offer a Bachelors degree but dole out an "upgrade" to Masters after a set number of years, or on payment of a fee, or both, without any further study. -Jturner 11:48, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Date of birth conundrum

Someone has changed her month of birth from March to January without giving a reason. However the original source doesn't actually state the original March date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.19.44.138 (talkcontribs) 17:47, 14 January 2009

Reason? Because that's when her birthday is, I would have thought. At least, I've never heard of it being any time other than January, and there was a reference to it on the show at the time.
But what's going on with her place of birth? The lead says Paddington, the second paragraph Southend, and WP says Rochford. — Stewart (talk) 20:36, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
