Stephen Fry is more closely associated to Countdown than most other celebrities despite having made only a handful of appearances. This may in part be due to the now infamous 'Sloblock' sketch on A Bit of Fry & Laurie.
He first found fame as a member of the Queens' College, Cambridge team on University Challenge, but is now better known for other things.
