Alex Call was a contestant in Series 90. He previously spent over fifteen years working for WH Smith, going on to become Head of Promotions and eventually Head of Books Marketing. Following his departure from the company, he went on to found and operate his own book distribution company, 'Bert's Books'. This was initially just a website, but due to its success spawned a shop. Call was from Swindon at the time of his appearance.
