Episode 7084 was broadcast on 28 May 2019, as part of Series 80.
Chris Smith played Conor Baker, with Chris Smith winning 108 – 40. The Dictionary Corner guest was Janet Street-Porter, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
This episode was the first to feature a new numbers board for CECIL, which has a whiteboard attached rather than using paper to show the solutions.
NOTE: Baker was not asked to spell his word in Round 2 and may have intended the word WAIST rather than WASTE.
